Interesting Book

Underground Education by Richard Zacks

I'm about half way through this book right now and enjoying it. I just finished a section on serial killers, and thought one of them sounded rather familiar. . . and turned out it was to do with the same person from Devil in the White City! Anyhow. . . back to reading the book. . .and knitting. . .!

Making Progress

I just wanted to add a quick post that I am making good progress in the poncho. . . and slow but sure progress with the scarf. I am on the last color repeat of the poncho. Then I'll block it, put it together and knit the edging around the neck. As for the scarf, I'm supposed to do a k1p1 ribbing for 32" - and I'm only around 11" now and I've been working on it a little bit every day! Once I finish that part, then I'll go back, pick up stitches and do the ruffle thing. I'm sure that's going to take a very long time!! In the meantime, I'll do some more afghan squares. . . finish the poncho. . . start another scarf. . . maybe start that sweater that I keep talking about and talking about!!

A new start!

Okay, so I have had a blog over on the earthlink site for quite some time now, but I am not happy with what little control I have over it! My posts are fine, and the pictures are fine, but it is all squished to the left of the screen and I can't seem to undo that. Plus, there are other aspects that I'm just struggling with! So, I thought I would try a new service, and if it works well for me then I'll try to switch my web rings over here. In the meantime. . . double posts! And, in case you couldn't tell - I'm playing with the pictures too!
